OK, I will admit it, I am not a waterfowl hunter. No real reason, other than I live in the desert but thank might be good enough. Growing up along the banks of the Rio Grande I did see birds but by the time I had really started hunting I had moved away to much drier areas of the State. I will say that I have NO ISSUES with wacking a few birds out of a stock pound if the migration is heavy.
Brock is finally at the age where I can take him on little adventures and I want to expose him to as many opportunites as I can. So I am constantly on the look out for things that he can “handle”. I found some pretty neat opportunites for youth hunts in the Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge so I thought I would pass it along.
